
ELECTRONIC BILL PRESENTMENT & PAYMENT (EBPP)

Overview - Collective Dynamics conducted
primary research that focused one understanding how consumer
EBPP preferences manifested themselves into business drivers,
and to better understand consumer issues regarding EBPP.
For this study, EBPP was defined as the process of presenting
a bill/invoice from a biller to a consumer electronically;
and, the process of allowing the consumer to send funds
to the biller electronically. The main issues addresses
were the business questions impacting stakeholders and
the consumer receptiveness to various combinations of
EBPP brands and feature/function alternatives.
Approach/Methodology - On-line interviewing
and conjoint techniques were utilized to gather both qualitative
and quantitative information. The first section of the
survey contained general survey questions and “open
ended” questions to better identify issues and disincentives
that are important to the survey population. The second
section focused on more detailed analysis of the important
attributes/levels and consumer issues and quantitative
measurement of these attributes/levels.
Cost - The cost for the basic study is
$7,500, plus any travel expenses related to presenting
the findings at your site.
